Jodie Humphreys offers a comprehensive assessment process to ensure that your experience and results are thorough, neuroaffirming, meaningful and insightful. As such, assessments at Nourishing Psychology follow the below steps:

Step 1 - Complete the contact form on our contact page

Step 2 - Appointment Booking: After completion and submission of the contact form, one of our fantastic reception team members will contact you to book an appointment time for an assessment interview. In order to secure your booking ,50% of the total assessment fee will be due upon booking.

Step 3 - Pre-Assessment Questionnaires and Screeners: Once your appointment booking is confirmed, we will email you with questionnaires and formal screeners that will ask you about Autistic and/or ADHD traits in adulthood and childhood to gain further information.

Step 4 - Assessment Session - Interview: Our neurodiversity-affirming ‘in person’ or via telehealth assessment appointments consist of around 1 - 4 hours of talking about your possible ADHD and/or Autistic traits, qualities and experiences using an semi structured interview. process If it is a child assessment: this is based on interviews and play based activities involving parents and child. If you're around 12- 18 years of age, it is helpful for you to bring a parent, carer, or another adult who knew you during childhood to your assessment appointment. If you're over 18 years of age you may also bring a support person to the appointments if you wish to do so.

Step 5 - Verbal Feedback: Verbal feedback about your assessment results will be provided via a feedback session following the appointment, once the assessment has been fully processed.

Step 6 - Written Feedback: A written report will be provided to you within approximately 2-3 weeks of your appointment.
